Chances are that it was Duncan Holaday, He purchased Elmer's rig. The colors are right and he lives more or less in your area. He will be in the shop latter today.

Yeah, Vern, where ya been? Duncan bought Elmer's rig. Many posts about that here and at least one thread on the trip from North Carolina to White Salmon. I posted up a pic of him and me riding up around Trout Lake a couple of weeks ago. He wears one of those day-glo jackets. Here's that pic--
