276C Not Allowed to Download Maps

Garmin won't allow me to download City Navigator Europe from their website to my computer because I'm using a 276C. Don't ask me why, it's just the way it is. So unless I get lucky and find a DVD somewhere in Europe (it's possible, but sounds like a hassle) I'd rather try to find some other maps online that I could download.

Does anyone have suggestions? Is there a consenseus on which site is the most useful?

Thanks.

Open Street Maps for Garmin. But these maps are not as compressed as the Garmin products are so you will need lots of supplemental storage or just load a country or two at a time.

Cheers,

Great thanks! I got Holland on there perfect but I'm struggling with getting the German map on my computer.

I found another app on the FAQ sheet that helps rename the maps once you download them but before you try to install them. Worked!!!

Thanks again. I now have GPS maps for Berlin for tomorrow!!
