I wasn't sure about the NOS, but those bottles sure looked like they were doing something. Oh well, great video and was amazed at what they did with those bikes.

Nitrous Oxide creates more power but requires more fuel to do so safely. I imagine those MSF bottles were filled with gasoline to provide the extra fuel being mixed with the NOS on injection to the intake tract.
Of course that is assuming those bottles were actually hooked up to anything. It's very possible they were just for show for those couple of scenes. |

Hmmm,
somewhere I've seen a bike coloured nearly exactly like this Tiger ... aah, it's my own, just the sponsor-stickers (and the bike) are different. Kind regards, Bambi And here's the pic to prove it:

They could have made that video on the new Honda NC700X without mods and average riders, no doubt!

I don't need this video to get me to buy one. The test ride I took in Denver on Saturday is all I needed to convince me that the Tiger 800 is the next bike I will buy. The salesman said to me, 'you know the demo route, right?' And I replied, 'No, I am going to take the bike to I70 up to Floyd hill to see how it handles higher altitude, and then I will come back on back roads to see how it handles.' He said, 'You will be back in 20 minutes?' And I said, 'Sure! ;)' Well when I got back, I knew this is the bike for me! Now I am saving up and plan to buy one in the spring.
Cool vid tho! |

Funny thing is I showed my wife the video and then showed her the Khaki green XC at the shop. When she saw the color she told me to go ahead and get it. Anyone interested in a SUPER nice XR650L. The best part was she told me to keep the 955i Tiger. Hope she likes the phantom black if they are out of green in the spring. Kinda hard to sell a bike in Anchorage right now.

Nothing in that video I've not seen a GS do.
Still, very impressive/enjoyable vid! I was in a Triumph dealership yesterday, they told me the XC version of their 1200 was coming March 2013 and that I can test ride it. Same size tank as the existing 12, but in most other respects, it'll be to the Tiger 12 what the GSA is to the GS12. Tempting bike.
