Play pocket pool.

You probably already have what you need to do so.

Is that like bumper billiards? I'm confused.

HEY!! To get this thread on track and away from the buxom boobies, I have some questions.

1. Compared to other provinces, how do food prices in Newfoundland compare to the mainland? What would be typical prices for staple items?

2. How do fuel costs compare to the mainland?

3. Does anyone know of a good large - format map? I just got my tourist package in the mail, and the map is not good for dual sport use. Anyone?

How about this site? Slow as hell but I can print large map with different options like topo or satelite view or roads and grids. Let me know!

There is a Province by Province "Off Road Map Book" available for purchase. (I got mine at Canadian Tire). Of course, I currently use the Nova Scotia version, but find it to be very useful and relatively accurate. I can't get the publisher right now, as the book is 20 miles away in my top case with the bike in storage!

Linkies...

This should be some fairly accurate mapping of the "Rock". Granted, if you've met any Newfoundlanders, and no matter how much I loves 'em, South MAY be at the top. Or the text may be written in some strange foreign tongue, incapable of being understood by us lowly mainlanders.

Sadly, they lack much coverage of Newfoundland. I have their Back Road Atlas for Canada, but the format is very difficult to get the "big picture" from.

What, you don't speak Basque?

Ziur naiz!Nire sintaxia herdoildu da, eta dementzia gaixo bat bezala monotones motela hitz egiten dut, baina lortu dut.

Osoa Canada "Atzera Road Atlas" probintziako banakako edizioetan baino xehetasun gutxiago badu dut galdetzen.Nova Scotia edizioa da oso osoa, eta ibilbide berriak dira moztu, berriz, denbora guztian, "saiatu eta benetako" eta lehendik dauden ibilbideak dira ondo irudikatzen aurkitu dut.Kopia bat bila joan eta ikusi zein den bere nahi izan dut.

I used to have a series of National Topographic series (NTS) maps taped to the wall in my appartment in Jasper, Alberta detailing the trails that I enjoyed hiking and mountain biking. They are excellent maps and very detailed.
