I've got a piece of property in downtown Seldovia, Nutty. You might have a snag getting a bike on that ferry but no problem on the Tusty (edit: Kennicott) for Thursday and Sunday sailings.

It's not right on the ocean but damn near. Nice little spot to pitch a tent nestled in the trees. Holler if you want to use it.

It's a cool spot for sure. Early this season it's the Kennicott and later in the summer both the Kennicott and the Tusty run which makes it a little easier to plan a weekend in Seldovia.

Here's the schedule as of now but you might want to check w/ the ferry website as they don't have much in common w/ the German rail system.

The Tustamena is in drydock until late June, at least. They're now talking about later in the summer. Best to call when you're ready to go to see what the deal is at the time.

Thanks for the info. But looks like ther isn't much to ride there, so best to just park in homer and go out and enjoy and come back would be better.
