Quick road report from Chicken

I will make it quick while i have internet. Glenn highway is in good shape. . nice new pavement on the hill down to sutton. Enjoy! Road construction with pilot car just outside of Glenn Ellen

Richardson highway. Frost heaves, (really) but otherwise ok.
Tok CutOff Road construction with pilot car at the beginning. Some bad frost heaves in the middle. otherwise good.

Taylor highway, has some corners with more chip than seal. Closer to chicken it looks like some of the inside corners are breaking through the chip seal in places by the centerline. BE CAREFUL you don't want to get into one of those trenches.

Weather is HOT but less hot than scanchorage.

see you all in DAWSON!

Heavy road work starting at the Y but not during the day. Road was good but rough. Gravel on the Canadian side is deeper than normal in the center and sides. US side is mostly hardpack.

Canadian gravel kind a like Canadian women, Soft around the edges and loose. But if you hit it fast and hard enough you won't notice....
