Yer getting VERY good at this reporting you are doing, and I am grateful for your insights. I am mystified how you manage it. How much information you must blade through to find relevant stuff and turn it into something that makes sense for us.

You must be an engineer or somebody technical. Amazing to me, though.

My thanks for your good work.

It's about time Marquez gets a taste of his own medicine. That move on Kalio was too aggressive for practice

It seem to me less of a situation where he does bad moves on people but more of a feeling that he thinks others are going to yield to him or just doesn't give others much respect. Redding doesn't put up with that BS and when MM gets to motogp he might be forced to change his habits.

My feelings about Redding and MM have reversed since the start of this season.

I agree with this he is totally focussed or ,totally ruthless and just doesnt seem to give others any racing room at all.Not sure that this is a trait that will go down well in motogp, shenanigans like that dont end well there. And with good reason you just cant ride like that with those bikes

Marquez will have a very rough first year in the MotoGP class, much the same as Lorenzo's first year.

Still getting the early taste of retirement out of his mouth. As long as he's in front of Rossi he sleeps OK.

About the only interesting rider in qualifying was Cal (ok, Ben did well too), I am very over this processional they are trying to call racing, with superbikes finished I've only got Moto 2 & 3 for entertainment.

Pedrosa,
Cal,
Spies,
Lorenzo.

Just so the title becomes a competition and stops this "play safe" riding. I'm off to put the 125 back together and pretend I've got a works garage not a small hole in the ground as a workshop!

This may take a lot of beer to create that illusion.

Almost forgot... GO Pol!!!

In the qp interview stoner made no mention of any physical problems relating to his pace he simply said they went the wrong way with the bike. Still, I think the race will be tough for him.

The Honda chatter is back. Stoner is whining about his arms not being strong enough to take up the slack from his sore ankle.
Lorenzo is as smooth as ever. So it's shaping up as a procession rather than a race.

Ben looks fast, but for some odd reason, I don't see him holding it together for race distance.

The big race will probably be Cal vs Dovi.

Hayden and Rossi could give us a few good laps.

I wonder what lap Barbera will crash on. If he wants it to be on camera, he should crash during the first 2 laps, otherwise we will miss it.

As usual, I expect several key events will be missed, as the director cuts to assorted paddock reaction shots.

Fuck the race! Show me the back of a guy throwing a signboard over the paddock wall.

Thanks for the very flattering words, P.

I simply try to know that facts when I reply or try to form my opinion from good solid sources.

A couple of years ago, this very forum was a good source for well informed tidbits. Now, one needs to sniff around a bit more.

Every once in a while, I overhear a conversation where others don't think anyone else is listening.

Watching warm up:

Moto 2 looks like it will be a classic barnstormer.

Moto GP looks like there might be some significant brake issues that will come in to play as the race progresses.

Cool-down laps after warm-up.

J Lo stops to make a practice start.

Stalls the M1 on the clutch, like a beginning rider learning to launch his XR100

Edwards comes along, chatting ensues.

CE gives J-lo a push, foot on peg.

J Lo restarts, gives CE a big thumbs up

One of the great moments of this misbegotten season, right there.

Yep, that push start from Colin was a real cool moment. Wonder if Bautista's offended
