To clarify, if you wanted to compete for an NMTA state championship in any of our skill classes you would have to pay the club membership fee. To compete without participating in the series you just need to be a current AMA member.

We scouted sections for the Gallup event the past two days. I think we have enough play areas to keep everyone satisfied now!

Shortish loop and hopefully some interesting terrain. Just hope the wind and weather help us out on event day!

nmtrialsguy and I for Lowers, and NMTrailBoss and Big Al for Uppers, spent the last two days scouting sections for the April event. Thank you NMTrailBoss for your help in riding some of the Intermediate lines!

Here're some pics to get all you riders excited about coming out to Gallup on April 7th!

The city-owned Gallup OHV Park is a beautiful place to ride and even has free dermabrasion in the spring.

Yep, since this is a new location, there's some clearing to do.

Sheesh, that Lower Course Clerk is pushy. The sections aren't even set yet.

Ok, I guess two days of picking sections for the first time was getting to me.

Without people stepping up to the plate (at a new location like this) we would never get to look forward to riding at a new area! Thanks again!

It's a *very* fun area to ride around. There were lots of freshly made trails too so they're continuing to expand the network. Some of them had trail markers like ski runs with a circle, square, or diamond.

B and I are going to get there on Wednesday and bring our dualsports to ride around a bit.

I have one of the nice little Sipapu cabins up by the road reserved for the national 8/1-8/5/13 and am going to cancel it. If anyone wants it, let me know. I'll hang onto it for a few more days in case anyone wants the reservation.

you don't need the cabin to stay in while you're checking at the National??

Oh, we'll be there, just not staying in a cabin (or a tent).
