You should have heard the boys at my trials last month. Damn. sob, meow, fuk this shite, meow, Bob suk, meow. How the hell, meow, never again, meow. I`d punch a five, but this is the only way out, meow.
( Meow was my response, rhymes with wussy.)

First trials I rode was Oak Flat, 2007, Ray Peters' Epic Trials. A fairly long loop, and I guess there was hysteria about it. I was in heaven.

Last month at Hardscrabble we did a five mile loop that had experts backing down, and (except for Dickson, hard to tell) every rider will come back to see what we find next year.

Even a tiny sport such as our own has many cross-currents! Sorry I missed yours, Bob, and sorry you missed mine.

Yours looked really interesting, we had a few riders planning to go. They watched the weather and chickened out. Mine was the same, rained all day Saturday, then just 45 minutes sunday morning. I set a canyon we had not used in 15 years. Very short, but nice and difficult. One way in and out. Will not be remembered as good, but opened up another place to ride!

That canyon is just north and east of the pit area...you can see it from the pits. It's about 40 yards from Gordy's section 7 for this weekend. One of the few places we found to get out of the brutal wind Sunday afternoon.

Maybe this weekend we'll have to borrow the Wyoming Club's (WMTA) wind gauge here. .

Just got to the pits and others are either here or pulling in.
Gorgeous weather !!! Nice and warm with barely a breeze.
If this holds put for the weekend, we are golden!!!
Lance is going to set a gated trial for everyone for tomorrow. That should be a fun warm- up.

Gotta go!

Gallup Rocked!!

Huge thanks to everyone that came out to Gallup for the trials! It was a very fun weekend!!

GordyWife pretty much summed up the whole event with this expression!

Overlook of the park and the pit area from Gordy's favorite tree!

A few teasers from the event...

More to come...
