Finally got a minute to throw up some pics.

Saturday was a blast! I hope that we do more of these as we had the fun competition in the morning and that left the afternoon to chill or go riding.

Greydog

I coudn't even begin to make the entrance turn to this one on the KTM but the rest of the sections at least gave me a chance to practice tech riding the "big" bike.

Willy wringing out the Bultaco at the enduro-x.

Coming in hot!!!

Any up (or down) scared the crap out of this gal just a few months ago!

Then we went goofing on a trail ride to an old mine site.

Greydog

Browser is acting up. I'll get some more up later (maybe) as we are getting ready to go to Texas on Friday.

A good friend will take you trail riding, an ADV friend will double back and say, "how did you get down there?"

Just got to the TX trials site and holy crap!!!

This place is incredible!!

We met the owner and he is building a world class triad facility. His words. He will host nationals and he wants a world round here.

There is a covered patio that has to be at least 1500 sq ft.

The loop looks to be set and marked to national standards.

Miss Bitters and I snuck out to SanYo today to scout sections for the upcoming MWVTA and her Lower NMTA events.

Don'cha just love shiny Trialers in the SanYo parking lot?

We spent several hours poking around the south end of SanYo past Lower Pool and into Grand Canyon. Found a few gems hidden in canyons down there -

Hmm, maybe not for Vintage or Lowers, but still cool.

Anyhoo, we roamed for a while longer when I noticed a storm moving in -

We got back to the parking lot and loaded up. It started to sprinkle a bit when I cinched down the last tie-down, and by the time we got into the cab of the Tundra (like, 15 seconds later) it was doing this -

When we got to the top of the hill, we could see it absolutely pouring on Upper Pool and Amateur Canyon. Springtime in New Mexico!

Day one in TX:

This place is incredible.
8 mile loop for AM and PM. There was some huge downhills on the loop covered with a 10"+ silt/rock mix. FTW
Sections were great.
The loop actually had scenic viewpoints marked out!
Really, really nice bunch of people here.
Score cards are laminated. Shouldn't they all be?
