Nate was out yesterday!

He has been offered an interview with Feld Motorsports to do demos!!

Wish him luck!

This guy was trash talking me all day!

Spring was "blowing in" and we had a great practice!

A good friend will take you trail riding, an ADV friend will double back and say, "how did you get down there?"

Missing another one. Dang. Lisa had her other knee replaced, so no playtime for this boy.

Great day, my amatuer career was short lived, and I have no endurance yet, but it was a great day and I saw another part of San Yo tha I had not seen before. Thanks to Christy, Chris, and the Webb clan for putting on a great day

Hey, don't give up on that one. It was very "challenging". I puckered up a lot on some sections and I've 'dropped down' to AMA from elsewhere. From upper class. And I never sweated so much in many years. So don't be discouraged. Not typical of AMA. I had a good time, brought back some old skills, I pushed myself and gathered confidence. I needed that.

But don't be discouraged about AMA.

+1 to what Bob said. You just came of major knee surgery, have minimal peg time since and need some more time working on fundamentals. This was a tough Amateur and Intermediate event (from what I've heard and saw in the scores). It will come with time and practice and you've got a ton of people willing to help with practice!

Thanks guys, I was a little overconfident coming back. I sure do appreciate the support, coaching and comradery! I still had some good aha moments in novice, an learned a bunch watching the afternoon guys do it right. I think I missed trials more than skiing

Sections were tough for lowers IMO.
I think that is occasionally good but not a steady diet of it.
The Texas trials that we went to had little mercy on AM (as in morning) riders.
I don't think that many if our amateurs could've made the 2 eight mile loops over there. But.......they have some good riders coming up.

Scores this weekend at SY looked good both morning and afternoon with some spread!

Btw, I like the way the TX club calls the day AM and PM. It is demeaning to call the up and coming talent "lowers".

I thought that the TMs did a great job and got points across the board. Thanks guys!!
