hey, and we've ridden together once at GM so there's evidence assembling of the "hard core" ST riders out there.

Did everyone get to work on time? I was a bit worried he wouldn't get there when we ran into half the forest that decided to fall into the middle of the trail.

Trail #139 East Fork

Can anybody give me some info on what the upper part of the trail is like? I rode the lower part up to the river crossing last week but didn't have time to get nuch further.

Eh?

I was not expecting it to be that bad. How long has it been since you were up there? Is it as difficult as it seems? I'm what some might call a novice trail rider.

Last year. That's the only real ugly section. But I'm guessing there's probably 12 inches of fresh snow up there today

Ya, the late snow is a bummer. But if anyone is interested a couple of us are going to head out that way on the 30th to check it out.

here goes my soapbox:

If you are a novice trail rider please DO NOT RIDE difficult mtn single track. The more it gets torn up the more the FS hears from non-moto crowd with urges to close it. I like difficult trails to remain OPEN. More seat time on moderate trails will help you "tread lightly" on the difficult trails. That and either a auto clutch or smarts how to use a manual clutch combine with proper air pressure and a trials rear tire. Please help keep trails OPEN.
