please help with a ct90
My wife is awesome and bought me a project 1974 ct90. frame vin# ct90-1602120 and engine vin# ct90e-1602147. I looked it up and a 1974 is a k5 and the vin goes from 1500003-1600002. but i thought 1602120 would be higher than that range making it a k6??? I need to find out so i can be sure the new parts i buy will fit.
any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks chris |

sometimes there is overlapping production/model year/vin numbers, go by the vin number. I dont think they changed a lot . emti

Go with the vin# but there are several distinctions between the K5 and K6:
'74 the only color was Mars Orange, '75 the only color was Tahtian Red. '74 down tube and battery covers grey, '75 same color red. '74 shift pattern down, '75 shift pattern up All the parts you may ever need: http://www.dratv.com/honcttrail90.html |
