Hi Vroom, vroom, ABQ here! I need more riding time in the dirt, I'm no good on it. Pavement's another matter. I've taken my XT home and back (NE Arizona) a few times and Colorado, too, plus some local rides and using the bike for commuting to work.

I'll be in Santa Fe for a couple days for work Nov. 17-19, maybe we could meet up?

Wahooooooooo... that picture makes me feel like I need to get a trip Down Under planned much sooner than I originally thought!! I wonder if we could get more ADV gals to plan a trip down there and ride with you wonderful Aussie ladies.

LadyDraco is right, it's hard to "ride" there. Logistics though, right? We could figure out how to do it ... hmmmmm... gotta think about this. Gotta start saving a lot of $$ to start; won't be a cheap trip, then find the time I can get off work ... okay... hmmmm... still thinking. Will get back to you. It's gotta workout somehow!

It's no issue at all. Just depends how hard or soft you wanna be. Mostly it's easy and heaps of fun. Remember our outback has degrees of fiddiculty, and is accessible particularly the fiun roads to get there in the first place.

Here, slobber up ...

we can ride through rain forests ... you own the road!

or just a leisurely ride through the countryside ... no traffic!!

even get out on the dirt outback, nice 'n easy stuff

where you'll feel it's g-d's own country, you and mother nature

lots of nice adv girls

and we like to party too

then take another route home through some hills

stop on route for a drink ... did i mention the roads are all yours?

the locals are very friendly too ...

so, where the bloody hell are ya? come on down!

wow, that would be a dream! I'd love to come down under. I have an old friend who lives on the Gold Coast, always an open invitation from him to visit. And since beginning to ride, now I have another excuse to visit. The ladies there seem super cool....I'd love to meet and ride with Lee Gunn and other awesome blokettes.

I better start saving the pennies. I would absolutely love to visit Australia. In fact, I've always wondered how I might make some sort of teaching opportunity of it, as well. Maybe an indigenous cultural exchange of some sort. I'm Native and would love to share what I can with communities there.
