Right, methinks it is time to call

I saw you slaving, setting up that camping trailer while Rogue barked orders and drank with the boys

I am thinking about going to BMWMOA myself as I need some "me" time, but I really need to put some cash into my F650 if I'm going to do that. It needs a new rear shoe and a service (no tools and no space to work here in VA at the mo). But I hear Bob's BMW up in MD (I am in NoVA) is top flight, so I can at least get it done right.

Has anyone found a BMWMOA thread in the outings/regional sub-forums? Any of you ladies name their m/c's the way the fellas do?

Hi There, welcome, and thanks for joining us!

For local BMW fun, see us at www.bmwbmw.org or at the forum at www.bmwbmw.org/forum

We have a lot of cool events, and tech days so you can learn to do your own maintenance.

Plenty of lady riders so you should feel right at home!

Lots of HD riders here, it's just that the guys seem to need to revile that which they do not know...silly boys.

Hey Queenie!

It's kind of hard to give up my old Sportster. I've had it for 14 years now!

I finally gave up my Dyna after my back got too messed up to ride it. Best bike I ever had, I miss it a bunch. I'm riding a V-Strom now and it's a great bike as well.

I have a lot of respect for REAL riders on HD. I'm sure you have more than 28K miles on it after all these years!

I know a few who wore theirs out. Most didn't even know that was possible since HD can be rebuilt over and over! They can be great bikes, especially the Sporty!
