Hi to all the new gals.

For those that haven't read the entire thread, a reminder...only wade into Jo Momma if you have a thick skin and a warped sense of humor. It can be a bumpy ride down there in the basement.

Funny, I just found this thread too after reading about it on some other post. I thought the regional threads stopped at Outer Darkness. Amazing what you find when scrolling down.
Hello ladies, I hope to meet some of y'all on the road.

Hi Ladies!
A New Zealand Noob here! I bought a sherpa in September and have been slowly getting it in adventure trim since then (I'll start a thread on the sherpa's farkles once I get some photos, should anyone be interested)
I haven't done much gravel/off-road on it yet, but with summer coming, I'll be getting out and about more.

Welcome Jemma!

(royal wave for ya )

I lived in Berkshire for 7 years...been back in the USA a while but get over the pond once or twice a year.

Would be interested in hearing about brands sold in the UK you recommend for riding gear with more style/design for women. Particularly interested in leathers.

Thanks for any info you might pass along and welcome again!!

Been away for a while

Hello fellow Ladies!
I've recently changed jobs and it has wreaked havoc with my riding opportunities, But I'm back and ready to ride. Any ladies (or any folks) in the phoenix area interested in getting together one Sunday for a ride, let me know. Interested in fire road duosport or on road fine with me.

Santa (a.k.a. I bought myself) a Yamaha 125cc dirt bike...and Santa brought my 7 yr old a Yamaha TT-R50cc....with all the gear! Now Mommy and son will have something to do other than watch video games together.

Thumb Santa was good to me

My santa brought me a 525, matching pants & some really cool Tech 3 Alpinestar boots . I can't wait to go out & get them all dirty!!!

It's great to see all these lady riders out there!! When I started, I felt like I would never meet other women riding, now I have 2 female riding buddies; it's awesome!!!
I really hope Lady bug is able to get all of us together some weekend. We should really start working on that.... It will give us something to do while the snow is still falling.

That is awesome! I have been looking into buying the kids a bike, why did you choose yamaha? The bummer is my 11 yo son is about average, and my 8 yo daughter is the size of a 6 yo. I would also need a trailer... do you have trailer or truck? oh it just adds up doesnt it? Also, I am nervous teaching them to ride as trying to teach them to ski was crazy! Half a day of lessons taught them more than they learned from me in two days!

Oh and Santa brought dualsport tires for the 650. Let me know if anyone in ABQ is interested in a ride!

my wife rides..

Well, my wife rides a 1150r for long trips but jsut got a ttr 225 to learn a bit more about dirt. We are in CO, near Boulder. She'd like to find other gals that ride to do a "gals ride" sometime.
