That's great!! Congrats!! Have fun breaking it in!!

I actually just had my first "swim" this weekend, up near Buffalo Pass, CO (right near the Grizzly-Helena trailhead). Coloradical (my bf) has some video of the not-so-graceful fall.

So, ladies...I got a new (to me) ride...am so excited! Got all jazzed about this bike after doing this ride on an earlier model. Feel free to have a good laugh at my expense...I can take it!
Congratulations on the new bike, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Your furry friend is might darned adorable.

So, Granitegirl..is Coloradical gonna post a little ride report?? We could start a thread for the womens combined event: biking *and* snorkeling!

Thanks, Ladybug! The bike's going to open a whole new world for sure.

And I really love that little dog (Clover)...she won a bunch of agility ribbons and even a few trophies when we used to compete and was a great mom! One of the best little dogs ever!

The combined event sounds like something I might excel at! I'll try to get on him to get something posted! I think he needs to borrow the editing softwear for the helmet cam (also borrowed).

I wish my doggie fit on my motorcycle with me! Maybe I need to look into an off-road side car

I was just looking at a sidecar so I could take my sweet dobergirl along. She's snuggled up in my lap right now, all 70 lbs of her, warming me up from my cold commute home.

However, the cold commute was made warmer by those pants I fleamarketed off you . They're really too tight as overpants, but work great for me with a thin baselayer. So thanks .

Maybe I'll get to meet you one of these days. PrairieRider, you still planning a Sunday ride? I think you should bring Clover down to play with my Guinness, while all three of us head for the hills (assuming I've sufficiently recovered from the Great American Beer Festival, of course ).

FG - Darn it...I wish I were going to ride on Sunday...sorry I spaced...plans changed. Am headed to Massachusetts for family stuff on Thursday and won't be back until Sunday. So probably no riding for me this weekend, but lessee if we can round up something for another weekend, weather permitting. Will keep in touch!

GG - Perhaps we can do synchronized snorkeling/motorbiking I'll keep an eye out for news of a post by Coloradical!

Great!! I'm so glad the pants are working for you!! There was no way they were gettin' up over my hips, so that was sad. I could've gone on an uber diet, but decided selling them would be easier I like food and beer too much for that! (speaking of, have a great time at the Beer Fest! I loved it last year, so much so, I fell asleep at 6:30 that night )

And I'd love to ride with you all whenever you get something together! Coloradical may have told you, I'm still learning, but am willing to throw myself around a fair bit (hence the chilly swim last weekend!).

My sweetie is a 65 lber...an Anatolian Shepherd mix. He's actually a little skittish, and would probably hate to be anywhere near the bike, so I guess that works for both of us

That was a great bike in fact I still have one only mine is full "dressed". In the 70s you could get all types of accessories for all types of bikes.

Laugh Wow - is that a Yamaha XT250?

Is that MY Current bike below, a Yamaha XT250 - with all the additions? I haven't even figured out how to get the plastics off yet!

But, I'm just under 600 miles - time to get it serviced!

Where did you find all the gear for the Yamaha XT250????--
p.s I know it is yours - but it sure shows me how mine could be much better dressed!!

e=LadyDraco]Great report
Thanks for sharing...

Laugh Wayyyyyy back in the olden days..

Here is the before when I was about 19 with my brand new Honda in Albuquerque - I'll have to get my husband to take a picture of my new Yamaha - and an older me! It looks like yours above - but still plain stock.

Cool!

My husband was born in Livorno - and his sister still lives in Naples.
Do you get out there anymore!
