Great news. The Huskies look like they're shaping up as more of a force out of the ashes of the BMW Rallye heydays. Fellow Aussie Matt Fish is also on one in Maroc later this month. Will watch with enthusiasm...and

Simon was due to ride a bmw in the condo750 down here in 2011. The bike had electrical issues and he did not race, but spectated instead. With a couple of familiar faces.

I always watch Simon`s progress when he does Dakar. Even though he doesn`t sound like one these days, it`s good to see an Aussie on the world stage.

Also happy to see Don Hatton gets another crack at Dakar. Talk about a story of determination! Would love to see him get the finisher's medal.
