2 Days around the UP of MI
I just recently did a little 2 day trip around the middle of the UP on my 05 Dakar. I started In Iron Mountain, MI right on the MI / WI border and headed North to Lake Superior and then back South along another route. I didn't have a GPS with me, just my trusty old Gazetteer. But if anyone is interested I could describe the route a bit better, it would be easy to duplicate. It was the last nice weekend of the year I think, highs in the 50's and it was low 30's at night, and just about peak colors. Overall it was only about 300 miles with about 250 of them on various dirt surfaces, gravel roads to rocky ORV trails. Most of the pics have descriptions and even some have links to Bing maps, others have pictures of signs that you should be able to find pretty easy.
