Said cabin is in a very beautiful area with a ton of riding around it. Alas it is on the wrong side of the big hump to be "WETFEST". A random gathering there would be a cool idea.

Well dammit. We couldn't find the place. Got close but GPS would not track, though it would recognize the waypoint and execute a Go To. It just never updated the display.

I showed up at 10:30,in the fog,, and left the next morning ,in the morning mist,to ride to meet Sector,,,,, my first WetFest. Saw and spoke to almost no-one except FisherMan in the morning as a group was heading out,,red wee-strom he was riding then.I packed up and left, and saw no-one else.Ho=Hum,,I shoulda been earlier, or stayed. Missed it!

But, along come another one,,, I chased sparkling dogs in the dark, and ran over tents for a parking spot the next time out!

(but now you have tent poles with character!,,and hand formed by me! to boot!
Not another set of tent poles just like them anywhere in the world!!)


So,, I looked at state parks with group sites available,,"suitable for 500" seems a bit over the top,,but, hey! there is an ampi-theater!,,and it is on the water!
(roadrash can figger this spot out)

I know,I know,,,,STFU peterman!
