2006 KTM 450 - reduce throttle response?
I know it sounds like a stupid question but is there a way to smoothen the throttle response? On technical stuff that power machine is hard to handle...

Throttle cams work well for what you describe but I wonder if it's geared super low. That can cause the same issue, I know plenty of riders who ride 450s in technical terrain without needing the differet throttle tube.

If you don't have girly sized hands, install some larger grips. I like the Pro Grip 718s on all my thumpers. The pencil thin stock KTM grips suck.

Well, its is rideable of course...but I can manage slower technical stuff much better on a drz400 for example.. The 450 is hard to tame on rocky trially stuff... |

Also, you can actually move the cable back one notch in the pulley. (it's in the Haynes manual)

Check if it has o ring mod done over throttle spring on carb. If so, this can be removed thus slowing the response
