worse yet, they might honor it at the check-in and hand me the tab. I'm gonna find out how many CAT riders are lurking here, aren't I? Sigh....
A Brewtus scholarship is a cold one after the ride, ennit? |

I used to ride with the CAT club. I rode the Oak Flats area 3 times. Real fun site. Building myself a Peter Gaunt XL 250 Honda replica that I can ride in vintage twin shock class again.

I'm gonna bring the family down to watch.
New pain specialist forbids me from riding ever again, secondary to severe spinal stenosis (sucks). So.....I'm planning on bringing the '06 GasGas Raga in the back of the truck with a For Sale sign on it. Have had it on Phoenix Craigslist for two weeks now, with nary a phone call. PM me if you know someone might be interested in a sweet TXT300 Raga, makes a great beginner bike! No, really!

I had a great time out there today and I thought I did alright for a first timer. Everyone was nice and I got a lot of good advice which helped a lot by the end of the day. Just need to practice my turns some more. Haha! There was a couple sections that I just could not get. Might have to go back and do it over and over until I get it figured out. Can't wait for the next one though!

Yeah I showed up and had a really fun time.
First 2 sections the clutch wouldn't disengage when pulled in. Stopped at the check out of #2 and the guy there I think (Todd) hopped on and got it working for me. Rode with the other new guy most of the first 2 loops. Nice guy! Everybody I talked to was nice and helpfull. Only cleaned 1 section. Glad my buddy let me use his bike.It almost makes me want to sell my KTM but hopefully after the holidays I can just save a little money and get my own bike. The picture of the spectators is my daughter, nieces and nephew. |

I really wasn't cheating. The doc said I could start riding again 4 months after surgery, that was 4 months and 2 days. I was 2 days into the allowable and I was out there riding. I made 1 full loop before I retired. Forget competitive for now, just going out for the fun and exercise.
