In my super limited (20 minute) test ride on the S1000RR, I liked it. I'm 6'2" and about 200 pounds, and I found it pretty comfortable. Much better comfort that riding friend's R1 and 1098. Power is amazing, but it can be ridden sanely if traffic/road conditions dictate.

The comments about the Rotax engine crack me up. I'm biased because I have a Tuono, but one of the selling points for me on that bike is the Rotax engine. When Piaggio statred making their own engines I was a bit "wait and see" on how well they will hold up. To each his own, but I like the engine. Of course, I like the KTM LC8 too.
