It may have some way to go, and it would also be interesting to know the time/distance you can cover on a charge - solar power next

Dont foget it is a prototype, so nt time was spent on estetical design

info is that we test the T race and gather info, It does about 100 km of rally at speed up to 117 on the piste, it has 4 battery reservoir, 6 gear box, torque amazing, it does the dunes. voila

Merci Pat!

loving the idea of a gear box on an electric bike
must be a treat with all that torque but I am not sure I understand the need for it other then simulating a standard moto experience. That may be a topic for another thread all together but I am curious about your thoughts on it.
Whenever you folks release more info on it please let us know.

Keep doing what you do - you are an inspiration!

Here we go - looks like the Moroccan food reputation is true

From Safaribergs FB

Ben was due to be the first bike away today, but unfortunately he picked up a severe dose of food poisoning last night and will now sit out today to be able to recover. He is planning on restarting tomorrow. Given his very weak state the risk of pushing on today and maybe crashing was too high given Dakar is now so close.

Yep, more from Garry (SafariBergs) G2 Racing fb account:

G2 Rallye Racing

Not a good day for the Aussies yesterday, Ben had to sit it out due to food poisoning , & we got a broken rear drive shaft half way through the day dropping 1hr to fix it, then spent another 1hr chasing a waypoint that very few got but ended up houring out of the last section which we were not allowed to start :

36 minutes ago near Merzouga, Er Rachidia

Is "abandone" french for "holding onto the toilet seat for dear life...!?"

Maybe the "Maroccan Roll" torrent went through a good portion of the competitors?
