This is where the problem probably is, I dont get that drop down menu when I click "get a link"..I also noticed that the gallery is an "unlisted gallery. I think that I need to change that.

You're right. It was default for me, but it looks like under the gallery options, you can select if external links are allowed too:

Ack! External links are turned off for this gallery. You can turn them on by using customize gallery

This is the message I get when I click "get a Link....Could you walk me through this next portion then I think I will be done

It seems that the external links are disabled on my galeries. I deleted the password and still no luck. I'll keep trying..

Success, It was the password that was locking the gallery out. Much thanks for the patience and help......John
