Front Brake Micro Switch 500 EXC?

My front brake micro switch popped out, and I cannot figure out how it was mounted? Looked at the blown up parts diagram, but it is not obvious to me where it connects? I attached a couple of photos to demonstrate where it is located and constrained by the factory zip ties. Can anyone help me figure out how and where to pop it back in?

Look at your brake lever. On the end of it there is a bump/tab/protrusion that pushes on the button on the switch. This will guide you in the right direction. The operation is bassackwards in my opinion. With the switch hanging loose the brake light will be on. Pushing in the button turns it off. If the spring in your brake lever gets weak and doesn't push the lever all the way out then the brake light will be on.

On my 525 the pressure switch/banjo bolt on the rear master cylinder also worked on the front. I will be changing mine. I just bought a 500 exc.
