What's rideable right now? (northsound)

I'm going to take a less experience friend for a dual sport ride on Friday. I haven't had much time to ride for the last 2 months and have no idea what condition are right now. I assume 17/18 is snowed in. How rat trap? Split rock? Any other suggestions? Walker is not really an option and I don't want to drive all the way to Tahuya unless there isn't any other options.
