Went on my first real motorbike trip this summer. My dad and I went on a camping trip through New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, New Brunswick, and Quebec. 4200km in a week and a half, on two 31 year old motorbikes. Not bad! Camped the whole way, it was an awesome trip, great roads and weather. I'd do it again any day.

This was on the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire.

for those seeing these Imogene posts and wondering about trying it.. its easier from Telluride to Ouray. I've done it both ways (several times in one day even ) - and there are some steeper climbs if you come out of Ouray so its easier going down those.

Black Bear is a one way down into Telluride (making Imogene the natural way back over) - but you probably don't want to be taking a heavy bike (or a bike not on full knobbies) down the steps of Black Bear so Ophir is the next pass down that will let you over.

Here's my favorite Black Bear photo - sitting on the last step (about 500 feet above the waterfall seen above)
(I'm afraid of heights so I'm pooping my pants a little right here )

...and here is one of my favorite pics on Imogene at 13,000 feet
(if you go up there.. make sure you take the fork at the top that goes to the south east (away from Telluride) - this is the view)

I don't believe that I take good pictures. But, on the road south to Douglas, Arizona, while preparing to cross over to Mexico for six months away, I did snap this.

I'll take it as a good omen for the trip.

Hey guys,

MY first post here.

This picture I took just two weeks ago on the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse in Austria.
Probably it was the last tour for this season on road.

This one is my most favorite picture which was taken from me.
