So, 02 520 mxc KTM, or a yz450f Which is an 06. What I really want is one of the v-twin dirt bikes, big smash low weight, hard to work on expensive parts. Like 07ish? Maybe an Ape? Anyway still looking for something to blow up my skirt as I'm officially a small bike sissy. ;-)

525/530 EXC or XC-W are way better trail bikes than the YZ. The MXC has a close ratio gearbox that works, but not as well as the EXC or XC-W. My two pesos.

I love my KTM 530 but sounds like Aprilia is right up your alley.

2001 KTM 380 with the 420 big block kit, Cnc triple, 225 # suspension, big gen for lights, it's....peppy, and mine.
