Im sure that it won't happen but it'd be cool if they made a new power cruiser considering the market for them seems to be bigger than it was when they stopped making the Magna back in 2003.

For me character is being able to do at least one thing REALLY well that either justifies the purchase or adds to the ownership experience. Leads to comments like "I don't wanna sell this bike because..."

character is one of those vague things that allows different interpretations of what constitutes it....
let's talk about motorcycles

This is precisely why this board needs to shut down the entire off topic area. Even though they try to segregate it, the foul odor permeates the rest of the forum. I have been gone for several months due to the overall tone of this board and today I returned fro model information about a new bike that interest me and this is what I see.
Back to the bike, It looks great, I was on the fence about getting rid of my 650 cruiser when I return to the states and replacing it with a CBR250r ABS. I was a bit concerned about such a step down in engine size (but, oddly enough, not a lot of a step down in power). The upcoming CBR500 looks very attractive to me. I found that I ride year round; with that the full fairing is attractive. I ended up putting a windshield and lower deflectors on my cruiser. I will be interested to see if the US will get ABS, having ridden year round, I want my next bike to have it (I am fully aware of the pros and cons). I am interested in real reactions to the riding position for daily riding and commuting duties, not track day excitement. I am interested in luggage offerings. One odd thing, that is often left out of spec-sheets, that I am also interested in is the alternator/stator output; again, this has to do more with winter riding. I realize that a lot of this information hasn't been released yet. Further, a lot of it is not the stuff that gets mention in magazine reviews because this is the boring day to day stuff that only matters to people looking for a bike for daily transportation. Hopefully this is the type of information that will find its way to the forums.

Any chance that these new Honda models might be at the Dallas IMS show this weekend?

I'm surprised the Dallas Show is already on. Isn't it a little early? Milan hasn't even happened!

I'm hoping I'll get to see all these new bikes at the San Mateo, California show on the 17th. My dream of the CB1100 may have been superseded by my dream of the VFR1200X Crosstourer.
