Is there such a thing?
Is there such a thing as too much light?
![]() ![]() Sorry for the crappy cell pictures.... Spent a few days retrofitting my dads R100S CJ hack to be all LED for the brake/run and the turns. A mix of retrofitting the stock housing and flexable LED strips. The front is sporting a pair of piaa 510's and an oscar in addition to the stock headlamp. Mix of retrofits and strips for the turn signals too. Now he doesn't feel quite so invisible...........

Of course there is,
If it interferes with the ability of others to judge your distance or speed, or if it interferes with their ability to observe their environment then it is excessive and dangerous. The idea is to see and be seen, not blind or distract.

Too light?
![]() Of course all passengers on the outfit should have enough weight to keep them in their seats.

Also over-the-top high beams can leave you yourself blinded when you have to switch to low beam for oncoming vehicles.

Aww jeez, never mind..............
![]() It's not like he'd be running all that all the time. Ones an oscar, the others are piaas. The rears are brake lights when lit up. Which all beats the fuck out of three lonely little 1156 lamps.............. Yeah, nevermind.

Ask Mz. Liz!
No pics, but MzLizVT has 4 7" Offroad lights in addition to her regular deadlight...on a solo rig...maybe more...
Anybody got a pic of that? |

Too much light, you say? Just ended up replacing the Hella 2000s on mine with Hella 700s (got tired of chasing bad earths and blown bulbs), but I still don't think I will have an issue being seen! I realised the other day that EVERY vehicle I own has aftermarket or auxiliary lights on it.

Good Job!!!!
Lets see the bike in the day light. That's a lot of work wireing up lights the right way on a rig. You can NEVER have too much light, if used responsivly. I think the others have light envy
So, GOOD JOB mountain eagle. Have yourself a beer
