Had one of these. Rare in North America but not in the rest of the world.
Enclosed front disc brakes were ok on the street but would overheat and fade in about 3 laps of racing. Installed a complete front end off a CX650E to get normal front brakes. With a Wolf header and some jetting it was plenty fast to run in the 550 Cafe class against modified GPZ550. What a fun bike this was.
