Really enjoyed your RR, here's hoping your next trip is totally breakdown-free to balance things out

We have a term we use in racing. It usually applies to someone's lack of talent, but in your case it's appropriate simply on your rate of success. "OSB" = Other Sports Beckon. If I had this much bad luck riding I'd have quit long ago and bought a Jeep or something. You're made of sterner stuff than I.

i hate to say it, but this kinda stuff is bothering me, too.... it's all over this forum, there's a bunch of reports like this, getting stuck in bumfukk mexico and out of water, etc... .... start a trip all screwed up, and get worse as you go along.... i go way outta my way to get all my shizzit in one sock.... i really try to be the master of my destiny..... dirt bikes are tough though, and stuff does screw up.... i guess it's all in your attitude.... i really like to be in control.....

but there's other guys that make it to freakin' mongolia w/out serious troubles.... why is that?....

Great RR - With all those break downs, I probably would have given up and gone home.
Lets hope your next ride is going to be worry free of break downs.

I did that in February.

I thought my wife and kid would enjoy seeing some of the sights I enjoyed on the motorcycle.

They were thrilled.

Yep, if you'd have had a DR your RR would have ended with microbrews in Port Orford, Oregon
