You will need the Ram mounts, something similar to this: full kit, although mine is half a bar mount, and the long extension piece I scrounged together from other installs.

I used an Ikea base piece for a cupboard I modded to raise it and act like a dampner.

So far so good. While the dude above me has some concerns about that bracket, I think its okay, but the screen I fitted will definitely take a lot of strain off the OR bracket.
Excellent, thanks. How long is that arm you are using?

Been looking on Ebay and Amazon but none look really legit.

Yes, the Lifeproof case is WATERPROOF and meets all the mil-specs. They sell a handlebar mount as well. The only issue is the charging port on the case can't be opened with it in the mount. However, I used a Dremmel and changed that. The case is very strong and holds it nice and secure but you can easily take the phone out when you run into the store. I've done lots of looking around and these cases seem to the best out there in my opinion. The phone and case hold up well when I put it on my mountain bike as well and hit some downhills. Let me know if you want a picture?

Guys,

I've read somewhere about a guard for the exhaust just behind and above the RHS peg, but can't find it!! Did a thousand miles on my 800 XC over the last few days and had to wire up some sort of mesh to stop my DriRider pants melting at the bottom of the right hand leg

I'd be happy to knock something up but I reckon that it won't look half as good as a bought one.

Any ideas? I've done some searches on this forum but must be asking the wrong questions.

cheers

Trev

Anyone with the SW Motech crash bars? If so how you like em?? I won't be doing much off roading other than dirt roads and willl be riding VERY conservatively. I really don't like the Hepco.. i think they just destroy the look of the bike

I tried searching through the thread previous posts but the search function sucks donkey!

Use Google. Type in: site:advrider.com [search term]
Without the brackets.
Google will show results within the site. There's a syntax to narrow to a specific thread as well but I don't know that one.

I found some sweet Rox Speed FX Handguards. They dont show them to be bike specific. Anyone running these on your Tiger?? I was about to pull the trigger on them. ($60.00 US)

I love the look of these. Thoughts? Anyone running them?

My matte green 2013 was $11,500 before taxes. I made both dealers in Colorado Springs the same offer via email and they both accepted. But I had already contacted the dealer who contacted me first and sealed the deal. Who knows, he might of actually gone lower. But the buying experience was pleasant and professional.

Acerbis LED Vision Hanguards

Have y'all seen this!

Just released, supposedly Off-Road-able with the backbone.

They are for sale here: http://www.adventurebikeshop.co.uk/i...product_id=627

But, they aren't even on the Acerbis website?!

Does anyone have any more info on these before I go buy them cuz they are sick. Not that that's impulsive or anything.

Did I mention they were 100 pounds, plus shipping, so that's ..... $180 shipped to CT, USA....

Any dealers in the US carrying it yet?
