qt fun
Ten years ago my wife and I bought a couple mopeds at yard sales, a concord xke, and a Yamaha qt50. Here in OH the DMV calls the qt a motorcycle so I couldn't license it....off to the barn it went.
My 10 year old son wanted a dirt bike so I dug out the mopeds and worked them over. The xke. Just needed carb work but the qt got tore down, and had the carbon ground out of the exhaust port.I thought what the hell and polished the intake and exhaust ports with a dremel while I was at it. For the last two days I couldn't get him off the at. I commandeered it this evening and all I can say is ![]() ![]() ![]() What a blast, feels like riding a bicycle at 35mph. |

There's a lot of fun in these lightweight, small displacement machines! They don't have to be 650cc firebreathers.
