I wish I could do that trip. I went to Russia 2 years ago for work and had a couple of days to walk around Moscow and see the Red square. What a beautiful country in March. I would love to see it in spring. Have fun on your adventure.

I'm certain you must see russia outside cities..) i think it will be same like me saw native America after big cities..sometimes it's very different but awesome too) You should planning next trip with North part) Saint-Petersburg and northern but only at summer) Let me know if it will be possible, i'll try to help you with everything )

Mikl, No need to notch the fender for the bag, after it's installed take some plyers and squeeze the metal tabs pinching the plastic between it a little, stays on fine. I've used them that way for many tough miles with no problems.

I used to have a 650R and never put that kind of love into it. Your build is killer! Nice fabrication skills.

What i do with tool bag on fender is drill small holes and use some zipties, good luck have fun!

Yes I has been at Finland very often , like mechanic, it was at the tracks, sometimes we are shipping our parcels from Us to Finland and of course i Love your quiet country with pure nature) I love Savonlinna and lakes area..

My news is very different ) We still have a lot of snow..and my way leading me to the new..we are say goodbye to the last workshop which i organized and we are going from avarice of our partners to the some quite custom visions..now i organizing my double floor garage for completing old customers and preparation to my trip..So independence much better than money ) Will post some pics of my new place soon) cheers!
