Dani has the skills...I think he will deliver soon.

p.s. I am a VR fan.

I think he's taking that same approach this year and we can expect him to turn it up a notch later in the year and dominate the 2nd half of the season once again.
Pedrosa would be looking just fine if he had not just acquired the team mate from hell. He is no longer being compared to his previous achievements but to current form relative to his teamie.

Regarding Pedrosa, let´s not forget, that although he has not won a big class title, he actually gave it a very good go just last year. In the final standings, he was only 18 points away from Lorenzo, who had almost as perfect season as one can dream of (and it is pretty hard to beat a man, who finishes almost every time, and on top of that, ALL those finishes, every one of them, are either first or second places!) – to still get that close to JLo, is a big achievement in my book. Dani also beat his team-mate Casey Stoner in the process.

Plus we´re only two rounds into this season. No doubt Marc Marquez has shocked the MotoGP world in Qatar, and even more in Texas. But here it´s good to keep in mind, although it won´t be fully comparable: when Lorenzo came into the big class (in 2008), he also took a 2nd, a 3rd and a victory from his first three races. That is pretty amazing, and actually looks a lot like what Marquez is doing now. But later on, JLo found out, that his rookie season also included many visits to the Clinica Mobile and local hospitals, and he finished that season well behind his team-mate.

Includes a fantastic quote: "Honda’s goals remain what they have always been: to dominate all classes, even if that makes racing a bore, reducing its value to all."

That Swipe thing Cycleworld is using crashes out of Safari on my iPad. I'll have to look at this using my work computer.

Unless Suzuki bring more than they ever have since the early 500 days they will be chasing Ducati amid the CRT's.

When you see those Repsols chasing down an M1, does it not remind you of Tie-Fighters chasing an X-Wing?

Interesting thoughts on why Suzuki appears to be abandoning the V4 going back to an inline-4 engine design. As Cameron says, Yamaha have marketed the motoGP inspired crossplane crankshaft to the drooling masses.

The phrase "Evil Empire" was first used on the Roberts-run Marlboro Yamaha team with Rainey and Lawson.

sometimes just because a person has something to say doesn't mean that what they said is of any value to any one. Piug should've just dismissed Schwantz's comments as not worth taking the time to respond.

Ben Spies: Moto Racer, Singer and Bike Builder. In Inked magazine.

It's a 1,000 word fluff piece on Ben. Done before the season started. The only thing interesting is when he talks about his motivation to race. It's usually interesting to read about racers from a non-racing perspective.
