That's what I think of when I see the term "xaused" and it's derivations. Multiple, and often spectacular crashes.

No doubt Xaus created some impressive titanium-laden yardsales. He wasn't the first to wad up a bunch of bikes...but he may have been one of the best.

All kidding aside, he was damn fast and fun to watch.

Yep...he had wonderful form...I personally loved his Ostrich imitations.

How about if we let the Duc's have 1200cc?

That worked last time!

It is one thing to demand such things. It is another to receive them.

If anyone thought he was likely to regularly beat Lorenzo and Pedrosa and Marquez and challenge for the World Championship, they would be lined up to sign him and they would be bringing sacks full of $$$ with them.
Money is nice, but - a shot at winning likely means a lot.

O.K. the Duc *is* a turnip truck right now, but it is a factory bike, if by some miracle Ducati gets their act together he has a shot at winning, maybe even a series win and he'll have the factory behind him.

The non-factory bikes, zero chance, best he can hope for there is scrounging the occasional podium - and the chances of that drop every time he does it. It's hard enough for a #2 factory rider to take points from #1.
