Eslick was just recently a wildcard in MotoGP..IIRC. Crashed out I think. But yeah, he is great in AMA for sure.

I think Hayes would do well in WSBK.

Roger Hayden and Danny Eslick both raced at the Laguna round of WSBK. I think Roger was 10th and Eslick was around 15th on Saturday. Roger was in the top 10 on Sunday and Eslick was running up there and crashed. I could be wrong about the details. But they both turned in pretty respectable performances considering they were racing AMA spec bikes.
Give team Jordan a year to learn the tracks and how to tune the bikes and I'll bet they'll be a force to be reckoned with.

When was this? Must have missed that race?

Are you talking about Blake Young?

Edit: see it was a WSBK race.

Yes and yes.

Blake Young was just a recent wildcard too, but I forget which race....found it GP Indy..Attack Kawi.

I do not have as much time to get for many rides these days, but I still DVR as much racing as I can, AMA, WSBK, BSB and MotoGP.....SX/MX too. I then watch them at night after the kid and the wife go to bed.

I think we have the oldest team in the MotoGP paddock, by far. So I've been here for quite a while and some of my guys have been here for 25-30 years with me. So I think they are doing an okay job and Yamaha is always telling me 'keep your guys, because we're happy with your team'.

So I find it a little bit strange that riders, especially young riders, bring their friends with them. I don't think this happens in any other motorsport. When you join a team, it is because you think it is successful and what makes a team successful is the human factor.

Blake made it to the second corner before a spectacular highside Sunday at Indi. He showed some nice improvement over the weekend even though his race was short.

Almost 24 hours without a comment, WTF?

Rossi is over the hill and should retire immediately, Stoner will make a wildcard appearance at Valencia and ride for the new Royal Enfield team in 2014, Marquez to F1 next year to do a "Surtees," Lorenzo retires to pursue a career as a motorcycle courier, Pedrosa wins the championship in '14 by default.

You, sir, need another adult beverage.

Hayden will win the '14 championship as Dani P. will succumb to the charms of a midget porn star and not be heard from again.

Dorms to mandate kick starters on all non-prototype bikes.

For 2014....(the organizers have been studying American stock car racing)

Dorna thinks that their P.I. mandatory pitlane cruise was so successful that they are will now require NASCAR style tire changes in each race. None of this wimpy bike change stuff- get used to the sound of air wrenches folks.

So......during the winter all the riders will be working on their 360 degree smokey burnouts for post race antics. The "Polish victory lap" might need LOTS of practice though.

and with 2 laps left, they will throw out yellow flag due to invisible debris on the track to tighten up the field for a last lap blitz/crash to the finish line.
