been watching the 2012 season of Moto2 and 3 on the DVR to pass the time - starting making plans for Austin tickets and realized that race only going to have the GP class

can't bring myself to attend Indy, hate that track, Laguna too far away. Austin it is....anyone else in the US making plans?

At Chuckwallah no less. Not quite a good test track for a 'GP' bike, but still a good one. He probably won't get out of fourth gear on that track.

MotoGP.com season pass is now available. About $135. Do they discount the cost later in the season or does it stay consistent the whole time? I need to figure out how I want to stream this to my TV but if the price usually drops as the season goes on I may wait and get that sorted first.

At mid season they cut the price by about half, or I think they have the past few years.

That didn't sound like a conventional Kawasaki engine, any idea what they are running this year?

ZX-10R engine with heavy modifications including a "crossplane-type" crank built by Attack Performance to change the firing order.
