I'm not really a big Rossi fan, but think it would be an astounding way to end his career if he could come back and take the championship one more (last?) time at the geriatric age of 33 or whatever he is now.

Dani
Vale JLo MM Bradl Crutchlow I'm really hoping Dani finally gets one in the bag now. If and when Marquez learns all the tricks of the big class, barring any major injuries he's gonna rule for some time. Beating JLo's not gonna be easy for anybody... just thinking maybe he can't quite repeat the absolute perfect season he put together last year. And Rossi is probably more hungry than he's ever been. Marc Marquez turns 20 today. For that reason, I will predict Rossi to win the chasmpioship as he will be there to collect results on the mistakes of the faster riders. Old age and treachery 1. Rossi 2. Marquez 3. JLo 4. Pedrosa

Prognostications
J-Lo beat Pedro this year, seems to me he can do the same this year.
Nobody knows how fast VR will be but I bet he still has the skills and I bet he is still hungry too. MM is new to the big bikes, and I figure he'll be one of those guys that looks awesome in testing, and races really fast until he wipes out (a few times?) and either injury or fear of the bike slow him down. He ought to be good for a win or two. The way I see it this adds up to: 1. Lorenzo 2. Rossi 3. Pedro 4. Marquez

Oldest MotoGP champions: 1. Leslie Graham, 1949, 37 years 340 days 2. Phil Read, 1974, 35 years 208 days 3. Mick Doohan, 1998, 33 years 122 days. Graham was the very first World Champion, racing in the post-war era, which society had necessarily been radically transformed. Read was the last of four-stroke champions, winning on an MV ahead of a horde of still-developing two-strokes. Doohan won his last title at younger age than Rossi is now. The best years of a Grand Prix racer are between 23 and 29. Statistics are against Rossi. Luckily, statistics don't win championships...

My thoughts.
Rossi Jlo Dani MM Why: I don't think rossi lost his racecraft in two years. He didn't push the ducati because he knew the bike couldn't turn. Jlo is more consistent than most, but rarely delivers stand in the bleachers demonstrations of racecraft like rossi has. Agreed, rossi did this in the past but I would bet he still got it. Dani will be fast., consistent, but tends to have an issue or two that keeps a few points away. MM will win races, wow us, won't get the championship this year.

WSBK is an old man's game. MotoGP is a young man's game. Winning in MotoGP once you're past 30 is hard.
