This looks to be the ticket,if they wear well.
It will be interesting to see how they hold up. |

Any idea when these will be available here in the states?
They look pretty awesome, we all know how long the Metzler tires last, well, speaking of the Tourance...

I'm looking at this closely. I had terrible performance on road with the Heidi K60's, but they actually don't work so bad off road. I'd love a trusty 50/50 tire and hope these will be much better than the Heidi's.

The old karoos would shriek at 65mph on the highway. These look worse. Damn good tire though for off road.

Damn, no 180/17.
I guess the TKC-80 is still the only real off road tire available for wide rims. |

I fit a 150/70-17 on my Uly just to see if it would work. It exposed the bead of the wheel, but worked. There is a 170/60-17. That will replace a 180 tire without any problem.

start expecting to see alot of that tire size as the new GS and the new 1190 KTM have both gone to that size rear.

i'd expect $150+ for the rear so they better not melt quickly. The K60 has yielded great mileage numbers because the tread is so tall there is just alot of rubber to work with.

Most 180 tires are on a 5.5" rim. The Dorsoduro uses a 6" rim, so even the 180 is maxed out.
