too much fun

Big thaniks to ToyMan and DirtyDog and the OK folks for putting this on!
I had a great time, met some good people and enjoyed the perfect weather and riding. Although I must say it seems kinda unfair that you AR folk have ALL the good roads. At least you're willing to share so it's not so bad.

I have a few pics of the saturday Team Vapor ride that I need to post.

See ya next year for sure!

You even far surpass those that if you flirt enough they make you the top shelf Long Island Ice Tea in the big glass for the regular price and slip you an extra order of wings for free. Although I admit I'm not sure how I'd vote on that. My heart would be with SC Razor, but the rest of me for the Hooters girl.

Speaking of Hooters, and wayyy off subject, but if you ever want to get slapped at Hooters, just do like I did and tell a hot black chick with a big rock hard ghetto booty but not blessed in the chest, that you just had a great idea:

"I'm gonna start up my own place like this and call it Pooters, and I want you to be my best waitress"! Damn, them black chicks can slap hard. Knocked the wing right out of my mouth. Made me blow beer out of my nose.

Almost forgot why I was gonna post this late: Just now going to bed, will shoot for morning-noon tomorrow for arrival.

Peace, Out, my brothers and sistas.
Haha!

Go team Vapor great ride Saturday.
Looks like we are the last FF at Byrds. I helped Cpt. America load the 990 this morning.
Tornados missed us but all the rain overwhelmed the truck tent and the seams weeped.
Drying gear and washing clothes in Ozark.
Byrds manager took us into thier home last night while the tornado watch was in effect then told us about the life jackets inthe rafters of the shower if we got hit by flash flooding

SLAP sounds like a ride not to be missed....

...and I missed it.

Status check on my buddy, DRZCharlie? Did he make it out alive?

All the best,

Stovey

Slide it forwardf a week or back a week and many more of us could make it next year.(Same week as Rick's RDV.)
Byrd's is an awesdome place! We had a GS Giant event there last summer. The trials course that you ran in the back was run by a bunch of 1150 and 1200 GS's last summer!

Problem with that is the current weekend is in-between Mother's Day and Memorial Day. It's also a common weekend for HS graduations, but we figured that would be the least of the conflicts.

We haven't officially settled on a date yet AFAIK. Likely to be the same weekend.

Maybe next year, SLAP will triple in size again and we'll push Rick's RDV to a different weekend.

Rally War begins now.

For DRZ Charlie... here's another shot of the T-shirt I had on at the event...

Here's the one I forgot to bring with me...

Credit for the shirts go to the one of the senior citizens that I ride with.

Got back from Slap on Tuesday. Made a week long trip out of it, Slap, Hot Springs, Talimena Trail, back to Clarksville trying to out run the thunderstorms and tornado's and home to IL. Had a great trip, 1500 miles. Thanks to all for the well planned event. Link to pics http://s129.photobucket.com/user/bec...ry/slap%202013

Couple of favorites

White rock fog

Natural Dam
We felt really bad coming up on this, we knew who it was and with no one around it had to be bad. Hope the PA guys don't mind

The slide coming into the creek bottom. Hope he's doing fine.

And Crash minus the windshield

Thanks again, see ya next year.
