Nah, just tear down a bunch of the derelict properties & turn it into a dirtbike park. Give them a good gnarly jump to play on all day & they'd probably stay out of traffic.

I used to work in Baltimore, tearing down derilict row houses a block at a time. When I moved away from the festering shit-hole, I swore that I would never work in that 'knife and gun club' ever again.
I haven't been back in 15 years. If I have any business in the area I don't go inside of the beltway, and I always pack a little heat if I have to go within a 5 mile radius outside of the beltway, and I never, never take the bike.
Very dangerous, very dangerous indeed. Stay away, and if you live there leave as soon as you can. Baltimore has no redeeming qualities.

Hey Baltimore!!!

Lived in the DC suburbs for 25-30 years and got to Baltimore occasionally. Inner Harbor, Orioles games, Painters Mill, etc. Those kinds of things. Been gone from the area since the late 80s. Had to go back recently to pick up a vehicle for my son - northeast side of town in Joppa. GPS routed me through downtown coming back to avoid the tunnel. Without question, I have never wanted to get the fuck out of any town in a hurry as I did that day. Truly unnerving. Not a chance in hell I'll ever get near that cesspool again.

Found this nugget on AR15.com:
Quote:
My 32yo female friend was driving alone in inner-city Baltimore in a 1yo sport-compact car this weekend, at one point taking a right-hand turn at a light onto a vacant 2-way, 4-lane street. She was in the second lane from the curb with cars in the curb lane making the same turn.

The SUV that was in front of her swung wide into the opposing lanes during the turn, and came back across with the wheel hard over, stopping perpendicular to her lane of travel to the point she and the car next to her had to slam on the brakes to avoid T-boning the SUV.
Four yutes jumped out and started advancing on her vehicle with at least one weapon visible.

Regardless of what you are on/ in, take care. DC used to be like this on some areas, not as bad today. Not safe, just not as bad.

I mean I know Baltimore has a bad rep & all, but when I lived in the midwest I had guns waved at me twice. Had to drive past a meth house every single day too. It didn't seem any worse than Baltimore.

Dang, 5punksdad, you ruined that guy's nice experience with your three month old post and caused him to actually make his first. Hope you're happy.

Wa wa wa. How dare we discuss the problems of the world?? There in lies another problem. Political correctness. The only weapon we need is common sense.....AND a set of balls.....and that .44magnum dont hurt either (unless its too heavy for op to carry)
