How can we update the personal smiles box?

Dear Baldy,

I never thought I'd be writing to you about this---

oh wait wrong letter.

Is there a way to put your most commonly used smilies into the quick access bar to the right of the reply field?

I know the 15 there are pretty commonly used, but I hardly ever use

or

and could probably replace them with ones I use more often.

There's probably already a way to do this-- maybe?

click on the inmate CP at the top,
on the left there is a menu with, get this, edit your favorite smilies!

Select the 15 you want and you're in business.

I was going to ask that very question, did a search with "smilie", found this little thread, and PRESTO... I have customized smilies! Thanks, MotoKat!

But i can no longer figure out how to update my favorites on the smiley box at the right of the posts.

That is a plug-in which is no longer compatible with the forum software upgrade. Hopefully we can install a new version at some point.

Yeah, that's the issue. I haven't been able to get it to work, dunno why, so I've gone on to other bugs for the time being.
