But wait, there's more... FOUR More !
Rob Watt, owner of TrailMaster Adventure Gear in Monument, CO (http://
FOUR Changing Mats! ![]() The Changing Mat is a lightweight folding mat that will keep your wheel out of the dirt when changing a flat. The pocket it packs into becomes a temporary storage place to keep all the small parts, like your axle nut, value stem or tools when doing a tire change. It will keep your socks clean when changing out of your riding gear. It serves as a door mat when getting in and out of your tent. Use it for a food prep station when you don't have a picnic Mat. Only your imagination will limit the many ways you can use The Changing Mat. ![]() .

good place to practice is indian ranch road to ballarat. or if you're riding in from trona, make a right to ballarat and go north via indian ranch road. you get your dose of dirt on your way to the campground. people asking me if i will lead a group ride. no specific plan yet since i have to be back at the campground before 5pm to prep dinner. |

Noob question: Tires for DV
This trip will be my first time to DV. I have Continental TKC 80's on my BMW 650 XC. Will those be fine for this trip? I recently bought the bike used and these were on it.
Thanks!

Those will be fine. Just make sure they have enough miles left in them before you leave. All of the riding in Death Valley is pretty rough on tires.

Joel,
You probably don't need it but just in case I have a large Coleman propane stove. It's a three burner guide series with two 10,000 btu burners and one 15,000. I'm pretty set on driving in now. If I don't finish(or start ) in time a generous member has offered his.
