You guys are hillarious.

no problem, leave the gs800 at home and bring a small bike...

hey long, welcome to the noobs rally...as we always say, what else could go wrong.

lots of areas to ride a big bike from easy to challenging. just depends on your skill level, bike set up and how much fuel you carry.

Friday Dinner

Hey Joel,

Hate to see you having to cook after committing so much time and effort to putting this rally together. Soooo, I would be willing to do Friday dinner. Pulled pork and chicken sound good?

Robbie
thanks robbie. you've been generous with your help in the last few years.

on friday, we have jimmy lewis doing a demo, i prefer that everyone be there rather sweating in front of the grill.

then the monster raffle that conteacher and bigtodd created is going to eat up a lot of the early evening on both days.

today, i am arranging with a caterer to do both friday and saturday. thursday is where most help is needed. i sucked in lonestar to host the fund raising dinner.......

having a caterer will allow the volunteers to ride for another hour or find their way back to camp.

friday will be shrimp and scallop pasta. the noobs will need all the carbo they could get for the saturday long ride.

saturday - carne asada taco, chicken taco, beans or rice, salad, etc.

nevertheless, if you guys see me walking around like a chicken without a head...that means i need help.

additional areas we need help will be manning the campfire, housekeeping, trash management, search and rescue (hope not needed) and the raffle.

Whew!!!!

Joel, I was sweatin' bullets thinking you were going to take me up on my offer .

I will clean up for Bob on Thursday and help set-up/clean-up on Fri. & Sat. I am driving this year so my truck will be there for any recoveries we may need. Also, I still need to smoke a couple hundred pounds of butts for pulled pork, so I can bring a couple of pounds for those with seafood aversions.

We had been planning on riding out to the event but had thrown around the idea of trailering to Mojave to help save the knobby tires, 2 bikes or one car it's the same cost in gas... looks like we won't be doing that as I just found out our trailer was stolen.

Here's my thread with the info in case anyone spots it.

When taken out of context this can be very funny quote indeed....

What size smoker is needed to do that volume of product? (seriously I am asking)
