Body panel repair

I posted this in the BMW section but I'm not getting as much info as I had hoped.

I slid down a rocky trail and managed to break both sides of my side panels.
Does anyone know which plastic repair method would work best?
There are some cracks and 2-3 places where pieces have broken off.
These are structural so it would need to be a strong repair.

I have a current thread on this called "Cracked Luggage".
The first and most important thing to do is determine which plastic you have there. ABS, most likely, but not assured. There may be a symbol on one of the panels that will indicate your type, but don't count on it.
I've also looked at both of the links you put up and there are also Youtube videos showing them in use. The Plastex looks good for ABS.
I have a 1.5 oz bottle of Plast-Aid that I'll sell you for cheap. Exactly 2 drops of solvent have been used.
Put a drop or two of solvent from the Plastex, or whatever you want to use, on the back of your piece to be repaired. If you have the right stuff the plastic will soften.
There is also welding, and that's what I'll use because I can't identify my plastic or find an adhesive that will stick to it.

Plastex is the same material as fake fingernails. Buy it at a beauty supply store.

I was trying to figure out the composition. It's polyethylmethylmethacrylate which is also used for dental prosthetics.

Years ago I trashed an expensive fairing thanks to a puddle of oil in a parking lot. There was a place that did plastic welding that put humpty dumty back together again. With a paint job it looked brand new. I know that kits exist but have no clue how good they are.
