Do we have any Guzzi clock restorers out there in ADV land?

I have a a pair of speedo's that need the bezel and glass taken from one, and put on the other.

I am clumsy, I will break it.

Kevin,

this could easily be the source of your oil leak.
The top 4 orings. The bottom 2 are another story.

The way I see it, is you can buy a good looking shiney bike, that the owner tells you is fantastic, reliable, never had a problem, that becomes a money pit when you get it home, or you can buy an honest project, that is not hiding behind shiney paint and polish. I know which one I would buy

Sunday morning was upon me, so I thought what should I do with it? I know, I shall drag the Guzzi from its slumbers, and have a pootle about in the direction of the Barge, and maybe look into booking a few places for a camping weekend later in the year.

So I walked down to my lockup, and dragged the old girl out, she was a bit sluggish to start, the cold had got to the battery, but it did start. Next I had to find a garage as both tyres were pretty soft, so once that was sorted, and after a blast round the block, to make sure all was well, I headed out.

The first thing I needed to do though was find a roadside coffee hut, and grab a bacon roll and coffee, well that wasn't to hard to sort out and I was soon getting on the outside of both...

while enjoying the coffee, a nice little Fiat 500 pulled up..

Coffee and roll now done I once more headed out, to do my task for the day, and having done that I returned home to give the Guzzi and my R80 a good wash, to clear the lingering road salt that blows about at this time of the year...

Once that was done, I adjusted up the gear linkage assembly on the Guzzi before dropping it back to the lockup.

I am so looking forward to warmer days...

Aye lovely indeed Kev. If mine is half as nice after twirling a spanner or six at it i'll be more than happy. Spent most of the day on this lost cause.

Kev, Can you get some detail on your reat tailight/ signals?
I spent my Sunday morning rekabobbulating this setup...

It's shinier now....but there's a certain lack of ......... style?

PS... the fixture says C.E.V.

The lamps are LUCAS?

It looks as though you have the wrong tail light fitted to the correct bracket, which is a different setup to mine, as I have the uber rare oblong tail light

Lucas indicators are correct option though, as I see them fitted to lots of Eldo's. My indicators are cheap aftermarket mini indicators, which will be changed at some point to a more traditional 70's style, maybe from a Honda C90 cub.
