Can't say it looks familiar, but that gent spent some coin on that!

Touratech still has prices for those options on their site. Pretty cool if you want the king of the thumpers!

So Brendon, What problems could you forsee with a FIVE YEAR hibernation?

It's a good idea to flush all fluids, brakes, coolant, oil, and probably the gas just to be safe. I'd probably do that before even starting the thing. 5 years isn't long enough to rot out rubber parts even if it's kept outside.

Remember to check the head bearings and fork seals, they go out with regularity on these models, especially with the extra weight from those tanks and seat (also leading me to believe the bike wasn't ridden much without bags on it).

However, all of those things I listed can be performed by yourself. If you brought it to us, I would say you're looking at least a few hours of labor, $100 or so in parts (fluids/filter/pads). That'd be a conservative estimate, I always try and give ADV guys breaks where I can.

Is anyone seriously looking at it?

As above plus:
Probably wouldn't hurt to pull the plug, put a bit of ATF in the cylinder and turn it over a few times by hand.

Let it sit overnight.

Next day, put a rag over the plug hole and crank it with the starter several seconds (10 - 15). Remove rag, install plug.
Then start it with fresh oil, run it not too long and dump the oil again.
