I test rode this beauty the other day. Only gripes I have is the slick and huge seat and wish exhaust had more time or noise. But intake noise was nice to listen to when WOT haha.

The bike isn't very loud, but they now have a kit that removes the secondary muffler and reflashes the ECM for $400. The yellow RX in my pictures has it. I asked them to start that bike so I could hear it. They did and it still wasn't as loud as I thought it would be, but it was louder and sounded nice to me. I'm sure there will be other aftermarket exhaust options too. But as I like to ride long distances, I'd probably leave the exhaust alone.

As far as the seat goes, they probably made it big so fat old guys like me could ride it.

They also have a new color scheme for the RX:

(borrowed from EBR's Facebook page)

Oh yea, and in case you guys haven't seen it elsewhere, the 2014 RX's and SX's are discounted $2k right now. Info at ebr.com.

Those seats are not meant for extended riding.

That seat is MUCH more comfortable than it looks.

It's bad when a ktm 690 owner complains the seat sucks on other bikes. And glad to hear that they got some mods for the exhaust
